SVB FOUNDATION INTENSIFIES EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH IN JOS 29th October, 2024 “Education is the foundation upon which we build empowerment; it lights the path, transforms lives, and turns dreams into possibilities.” In line with our mission to positively impact education, the SVB Foundation recently distributed notebooks, writing materials, pads, and other necessary resources to students and teachers at Olusegun Obasanjo Primary School in Hwolshe, Jos, Plateau State.
Mr. Na anshak Bako, the Executive Director, represented the team on behalf of CEO and Founder Mr. Simdul Vincent Bulus. He reaffirmed the Foundation’s commitment to excellence in serving humanity and supporting the less privileged in society. The members involved in this initiative included the Executive Director, the Board Chairman, the Human Resource Manager, the Board Secretary, and other members of the Foundation. Na’anshak emphasized that the SVB Foundation’s Outreach for Educational Change believes every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and unlock their full potential. He also added that the Foundation is set to pay the school fees for 100 students. “Education doesn’t just change individual lives; it strengthens communities, inspires hope, and builds a brighter future for us all,” he stated. In response, Mrs. Rita Joseph Dung, the head teacher, expressed gratitude on behalf of the staff and management for the Foundation’s generosity and for recognizing their school as a worthy recipient of support.
A highlight of the event was the distribution of learning materials to the students, accompanied by cheers and applause.
